About Future News

Every edition starts from a handful of real stories in today's news. An AI imagines where each one leads over the next hundred years, then writes the front page that a paper in that world would print, for five zones of the future: Merica, Albion, Eurafrica, AsiaPac and Explan, the settlements beyond Earth.

It is fiction. The people, places, companies and events in the future stories are invented, and nothing here is a prediction or real reporting.

The letters to the editor are invented too.
